Does anyone else struggle to achieve or even maintain a perfect harmony around the holidays?
These are some crazy times we’re living in, and sometimes the best way to get through them is cats, cookies and comfy clothing.
I’ve been quiet around here over the past month because I’m currently working on publishing my first ever ebook which I hope to sell starting Cyber Monday! (I’ll give ya a hint: It involves cookies and wine.)
This means that for the past few weeks I’ve been baking A LOT, making a LOT of messes, and, above all, trying to quiet my biggest critic: ME.
Perfectionism is a real struggle for me. I can sit on a project for ages because I’m afraid. And that’s all perfectionism is, really. Fear. In this case, fear that:
- My idea is not interesting enough.
- My photos aren’t professional enough.
- I’m an amateur and it shows.
For these reasons, I AM DETERMINED TO DO IT ANYWAY!!! Because perfectionism doesn’t get to win this time.
A pop of plaid in the front, soft stripes in the back and sweet floral fabric along the cuffs. Plus, it’s super-soft. Perfect for a lunch date with a friend or a stroll through the local craft market. (Or both!)
